Hello Jim:
Splendid shot. nice colors and perfect compo. I've always tried to shoot a decent lightening picture but always failed to sucessfully capture the pivotal moment.

Hi andre, Definitely a nice shot. it has remindded me of the weeklong trip in Litang back 3 years ago. I entered this kitchen and had a nice conversation with Lamas who told me the huge black wok behind this lama in the picture was made in the Qing Dynasty, about 3 hundred years ago. there seems to be two big woks in this kitchen if my memory is right.

Excellent shot, i have to say. the POV is nice even though the picture appears a bit gray. probably a tiny bit of curves and contrast can help a lot.

Nice compo...I've never been to Shanghai, though I believe is an "international metropolis".... the shot could've been better if the aperture was adjusted smaller..the smaller the aperture, the more beautiful the night, which means that the smaller aperture brings out the "star effect".

Nice shot with depressing atmosphere, ain't it what we are expecting? yes it is... the reflection in the glass of the storefront actually could be reduced a bit if you apply the CPL. I can see you in the reflection shooting yourself in front of the storefront.. just forget the "barrel distortion"..it may give us a big surprise sometimes.

Nice try and nice shot. the cobblestoned pathways sometimes give us an amazing visual effect. it'd have been better if you had put the far end of this pathway in the picture.

a nice shot taken, Dim, it could well be much better if any description comes with the picture. the face of this old lady tells us that how her life is going as ever even though the temperature is still too hight to cool everything down.

Hi Andy,nice effect and composition. I'd say that it's surely a nice try to place the camera on the ground when we have no tripod in hand. I love the colours and the blurring of the train passing by, which brough out an splendid shot.

nice composition. to make the background and the vender stand out in the shot, I cropped the upper part of the shot and let all the posters fill up the entire picture as much as possible
