I'm always amazed that, even when traveling in less developed places, you run into people who can do such things. In the US, I think it would be much harder to find a repair shop that could do the work, much less do it on no notice and finish in 15 minutes. You'd certainly be charged a truckload of money to have it done...
Nice capture, though. Catching the sparks flying, and the harsh shadows thrown on the kids mask and hands is a nice touch. Well done.

Good potential, but it looks like it was rushed. I agree with Mondaychild that it was overexposed, and it also looks like the focus is off. Still, a good concept...if you get the chance again, try again!

Very nice panoramic shot. The clarity is excellent, and the city lights just pop. Excellent framing, and an overall nice view of the city.

What a richly colored and deep photo. A shame about the feet, but it's still quite a powerful picture.

I think taking pictures of people going about their lives is one of my personal favorites.
That said, I think that a slightly faster shutter speed might have improved it. The motion of the sitting woman's hand is sort of distracting, and the women in general look a little blurry.
The colors are nice, and the lighting is beautiful. I like the details (the anvil) in the back as well.
Still, great job catching a moment of relaxed conversation.

Very nice...The exposure really lends an intimate feel to the picture. The young lady also appears to be focusing on the same thing as the older woman. Nicely done.

Cute picture...though it reminds me of my pet Guinea Pig from my college days. He died, but we didn't eat him. :)
Composition is good, and I especially like the little fellow that's looking right at the camera. It could stand a little post processing warming, but that's just a personal preference.

Superb. Colors are well balanced, and the dramatic contrast of the color of the prayer flags against the white mountains is beautiful.
I can't think of a bad photo that I've seen of trekking in Nepal. Just seems like they all turn out with deep blue skies, and comparable drama (for lack of a better word...only half a cup of coffee so far this AM).
Great job.

Decent shot, though not spectacular. I might adjust the levels a bit. However, Saqqara is a beautiful place...we rode horses down from Giza one day when I was living there in '94. Great memories of a wonderful country.
