Nice work Julian, but I'm surprised you used a color negative film for this. I'm doing a bit of research for a trip to Switzerland next year and came across this. I'll be shooting mostly 4x5, and possibly some 35mm - only on Fuji Velvia though.

Great shot Ram!! I am particulary drawn to warm images, like this one. I like how you included enough of the foreground to give a sense of the desert landscape surrounding this oasis. This is one of those images that makes me want to visit the location where it was taken.

Not to worry Adam. I am a big fan of Joe Cornish, and yes this is one of his most well known. But, that shouldn't stop you from capturing your own view of the same scene. In fact, I think you did quite well with this; I am particularly pleased with the way you used a slow shutter speed to capture the incoming tide. Unfortunately, your digital camera just can't capture the range of colors available in such a location, but your composition skills are top-notch. Excellent work.
