Not only your sweet dedication, but the image itself
fills me with much pleasure!
Well balanced compo for the bird's-eye view and cleverly
connected with the article about the Warrington station.
I really like the grainy tonality here that works great
with high contrast. I can't tell with certainty if the
person on our left is an official, but the fact that his
identity's obscured by the platform's sign makes it easier
for the photo to tell the story! Furthermore, the diagonal
lines create soome sort of cosiness that is
usually not attributed to big train stations.

PS. For the "No kissing allowed" sign at Warrington's - what can I say?!
Seems like some over here strive to cripple our culture
by importing yet another ludicrous idea from the US!

Geee!
I can't believe the colour contrast in this frame, Kath!
The sky looks superb filled with these low dark clouds...
what makes this one are layers of warm sunlight vs large
shadowed areas.
Very dramatic with a gorgeous light, indeed!

Hi Kath,
Both the close up of the head frame and this shot of
the view in the opposite direction are smashing. Pity
you don't have a photo that would show even wider view
of these mountains and lovely contrast between the green
of the various pine trees and the orange/red of the soil.
Going through all these photos must evoke many memories,
no?

Very different from all the other shots from the planes
people post on these pages (mainly 'through the window'
shots. And even though I'm not fond of them, I have to
admit I really like this one - probably for what it shows.
I would dare to say it's a very successful areal shot!

This one has got such a unique raw power as if it wasn't
a photograph but a very detailed charcoal drawing.
I just love its graphic quality!

Hey, Barbara!
Love the old roofs of the old part of the city (yes,
Bologna is a city, not a town!).
;-D
Last time I was climbing the tower it was in El Jem in
Tunisia and it was steep and I was mumbling all the curses
I could think of... not that I have the fear of hights,
but I always feel uncomfortable climbing numerous narrow
steps, thinking I'll eventually miss one and end up
rolling down backwards and breaking all the bones in my
body! LOL!
Sorry to hear about the train problems and, even being
from near the Mediterranean, I think I'll skip Antonella's
'orange delight'!

Reminded me of belly dancers, immediately.
Love the compositional balance and especially the space

Yes, why not?!
The More Photo Info says this one was taken last year at 20:27?!
Not focused properly, but I really do like the sunlight here and the way it creates shadows.
The f/7.1.... hmmm, dunno... smaller number would help
you more with focusing and create a better DOF, IMO.
