what a beautiful image. did you use filters in the field or pump the colors in photoshop?

i love this photo, it's fantastic. however, i can assure you that he is not related to el capitan de hemingway. i've known this duval street cigar roller for a decade and i can assure you it would have come up. i've also met gregorio fuentes, hemingway's captain, several times in cojimar, cuba. i photographed him and his son. he's now gone, his son is still in cuba.

great shot! the toucan doesn't even look real and that just makes it that much cooler. not a bad set of legs, either.

god, i swore i would never do this, but i have to put in my two cents. please know, that i can't stand photographers that lash out at every image trying to pick it apart...but, i live in key west and know a sunset when i see one. this photo looks like it was made about one hour before the sun drops. having said that, there is no way the water would still have the deep blue color, as it does at midday, simply because a blue-water scene looks that way because it is reflecting the sky.
it's a great image, but that's all...it's not even close to a straight photograph...i love photoshop, but come on.
