Corsica for me is the real highlight of the Mediterranean; rugged, occasionally bleak and always dramatic. This photo really lets Corte stand out within its environment, highlighting the natural backdrop to a gorgeous town. Great POV, nice bleached colours, TFS.

As you can see from my previous critiques, I am drawn to great atmospheric mist filled landscapes and this is no exception. Czech Republic draws all the plaudits but Slovakia has some little discovered gems of landscape. The nice clean lines, and rounded moors bring depth while the tree adds the immediate impact. Well composed, well exposed, fantastic.

Swiss shares with BA the title for boldest and most recognisible tail fin in the skies and to have so many of them congregated here creates a fabulous truly three dimensional shot. The composition makes good use of the space to allow the tails to dominate the picture from the bottom up and your staggered POV is very effective.

This is a fabulous shot that wouldn't look out of place in a gallery. The composition is particularly striking, highly abstract and all the more pleasing for it. The two elements come together to create a great contrast. Congratulations for not sticking to formulaic composition and cropping so effectively. Love it.

Thanks for illuminating the legend of this towering building. This is a dramatic and bold composition that benefits from perfect exposure and contrast. The engaging red of the market roof adds a splash of vitality to an otherwise moody, atmospheric shot. Really nice. TFS.

I don't exaggerate when I say this is my favorite photo from Trekearth so far. I find the shape of Burmese pagodas so alluring to begin with, and this is placed in a magical context. You have perfectly exposed the misty surrounds and they are highly evocative of mystery and mystique. Then there is the beautiful contrast of green on the deep rust colored pagoda and earth. Delightful, thank you for making the effort.

I have only ever seen photos of this paste applied in single large blocks to the cheeks, this is far more decorative. The girl wears a knowing, wise-beyond-her-years expression and you have managed to coax a faint smile and wonderful directness. Nice and sharp and very beautiful.

Australia is one of those countries blessed with huge scales in all respects, extending to its skies. You will see from my other critiques that skies are my favorite subjects, and this is a cracker, combined with a simple but interesting foreground, and a great delicate tone. Lovely.

I know from much personal experience that its not easy to take a photo from a moving train and here you have succeeded admirably. The POV is hugely dramatic, and you have chosen well to eliminate sky, emphasizing depth and scale. Excellent shot Asa.
