jemaa el fna is one of those places on earth which is difficult to picture: any photo showing the place cannot deliver its size and the feelings it brings to the visitor. thus, photographers go for a high vantage point, but you did it from the ground level, still as wide as it gives. february brought in heavy clouds, probably some rain as well, and it is interesting to see a winter scene from a place where we usually associate with a bright sun and a blue sky.

paying 220 eur per 1,5 hours emptied your pockets and you should have felt as light as a butterfly after all, without the burden of carrying that money... i had done the same, and was disappointed to see how fast time flew. i wanted a 5 hours ride after paying that much... anyways, a life time experience for sure. you highlighted the balloon, i would go for highlighting more the whole scene, as it is a half tone darker than i'd expect to see, but then, it should have been the low light at that time of the day, and you might have wanted to transfer it as dim as it was.[+]

good connection with mary & child statue of the church and the old baby carriage. sephia application is well suited to the scene which has no modern elements in it. makes me remember the staircase scene from the old movie battleship potemkin. the low POV gives a grandeur to the appeal, and this makes an interesting contradiction, as grandeur would be the last thing to associate with a baby carriage.

tabii ki başlığı yanlış okuyup bir müddet kadıncağızın adının Muhsin olduğunu düşündüm... sonunda aile boyu gezinizi ödemeyi kabul etmişler galiba... neyse, siz bi dönün hele, bir müddet gözlemleyip radyasyon zehirlenmesi belirtileri göstermezseniz ben de gidicem.

nice "bluish hour" photo of a charming - but rarely photographed - mosque: kilic ali pasa.
i find it strange that we never even bothered about considering to hold a TE meeting. i think we should do that before you leave for another country.

a strange story you are telling us, dear maria: "she came, gave the pose, and went back, without any expressions or means of communication". therefore, she must have been used to being photographed many times? who knows? very nice environmental portrait with an intriguing storyline.

i can give you the names of at least 15 places seen here, it is full of so many details for a local's eye. the result is surprizingly colorful for a very dull sky. the sharpness of the lens is amazing. i was thinking you were RAW processing, but no? that windows tool can't help the color temperature adjustment.[+]
