Reflections are great but I would have cropped the picture to the right to avoid the building edge. The cars at the bottom disturb a bit too but are "uncroppable" as the two open windows would then be too close to the bottom edge of the image.
Another issue that is often unavoidable is to see the interior of the building as in this case behind the front mast of the ship.
Otherwise very nice!

Being Danish, I know your feelings quite well - it can be quite disappointing as the mermaid is small and there are usually loads of tourists hanging about. But then, what exactly did you expect? As with most monuments, there is quite a gap between postcards and reality. I personally find her very charming.
I would actually have left the refinery as well as the tourist boat in the picture. Thus, you would have left the picture to express yor disappointment rather than to have to put it in words.
