This picture made me regret the current frozen lakes. The reflected color is wonderful and I'm trying to figure out what those reflections are. I learned a lot about the boats in your note which I really appreciated. I'm ready for a sail in one of these boats. Come spring I'll have to wander down to U of Wisconsin's Union and look for some interesting shots.

I love all the shapes in this picture. The way alley draws you in is great. Your note is terrific. I'm ready to go visit!

This is indeed a peaceful picture. I like the soft curves. I might have cropped it closer to the fence. And I sure wish you had included a note. I know very little about Mongolia. What is the fence fencing in? I see it's July is it hot?

The color pulled me right in to your picture. Then I noticed the detail. I like the point of view as well. I feel ready to ask the father a question myself. Pam

I like the colors in your photo a lot. It does remind me of my one visit to Santorini so many years ago. I think I would have cropped out the object in the water. I'm not sure what it is. Also, I'm not very good with post-production, but did you try increasing the saturation? I've just started experimenting with that and it makes things interesting. Pam

The color and line of the photo are great, but thank you too for the comment. I don't know much about Iran and am glad to learn about such a symbol.

Your picture makes me want to be on the boat--even with the obviously light wind! The lighting is wonderful. Pam

I think that I have been to this spot and you've captured it well. I would add to your comment that if it the memorial I am thinking of near Spean Bridge, it was specifically placed here to remember the commandos of World War II. They trained in the highlands and specifically in the area that you have pictured here. Your picture captures the wildness of the place. I love the sky.

This photo takes me right back to Skye and a photo workshop I took there ten plus years ago. We had lots of gray and stormy weather and I learned to appreciate it for photography. I love your point of view and the "cotton" water. I feel like you've captured a bit of the menace of the black Cuillins. I need to go back with my new camera and improved skills.

Chris, I like the composition of your photo particularly the way the pier draws us to the sun. Also, I like the detail in front. Too often with my own pictures I struggle to get the exposure right in this type of shot.
