Awesome picture. This grabbed me the second I laid eyes on it. Very cool way to add depth to the photo, and very interesting details from both far and near. Your framing is perfect. Great job!

hi sohrab - this is such a compelling photograph - It tickles me to see these kids playing the way all children do - their imaginations can turn anything into a play toy - and they are so dirty because of their games that it makes me smile. the beauty of your photograph is that it is also a commentary on conditions - and so while I smile at the photo it also makes me sad. Very nice work!

Hi nicolas - wow. this photo is really amazing. I agree that the b&w makes this photo even more dramatic. There is so much contrast, and you have neatly tied together the ethereal sky and the material earth with your treeline. What an opportunity to catch something so beautiful.

I agree, your colors are really beautiful! Your photo has the feeling of having great depth, thanks to your ability to capture the layering of the clouds and the light. The weight of the clouds seems to be pushing the sun even more urgently to go down....really eye-catching!

This is a great shot! You have managed to capture all the momentum of what was happening, and the intensity of the moment. The water provides some great leading lines that draw your eyes to the surfer's stance and expression. well done!
