This reminds me of the redwoods in nothern California. is that you in the pic?... I thin having a person there helps to bring scale to this picture.
I've been to the pacific northwest many times and lived there for a spell and this shot really reapresents it well. TFS

Very nice John. The light shinning through the stained glass really creats a wonderful air in this picture. I like the inclusion of the girl, while the picture does say it's about her, she adds a element that to my eye balances well against the stained glass.

Another nice one Jens.... One thing is for sure though, it appears that when they do finally paint, they don't spare the color. This view reminds me a great deal of Alaska. The color, light and general feel here is much the same. I like the mist coming off the mountain an iceberg bits floating, as it really adds a great atmosphere to the setting. Well done.

A cool looking formation Jerome and a good capture. Perhaps a few fluffy clouds would have been nice, but then there is not much one can do about that. The Blue sky is quite nice though and serves well to frame this formation. Nice work.

Very nice Jens.. I've seen a lot of blue ice in Alaskan glaciers, with some critics suggesting that I had tainted the image. I dount anyone can do that here, with the blue beauty contrasting against otherwise white ice. So there's no boat, you still captured an impressive sight.
