Having seen your India Reflection 7, I cannot get away from the other "reflections." Here India Reflection 4. The orange cloaks of four monks is exquisitely eye-catching, ans are the building looming in the background. To ask a banal question, if you don't mind, was there a pervasive an odor (or stench) from all the immolations?

Congratulations on a spectacular photo, somber, but exuding sober serenity. That structure looming above the boat on the right is a little distracting, but the boats, their colorfully dressed passengers, the mirrorlike water, and perhaps very high humidity all help to create a mystical atmosphere.

very interesting scene. There is a nice contrast of the new and old elements here. The frame is so busy so full of people doing something. In general the place makes an impression of being quite old and damaged, both buildings and boats look quite bad -which of course makes the composition even more photogenic :)
Very nice reportage,
