I like the black border around this image created by the shadows of the ground and rocks above. The subtle blue of the sky, the subdued tones of the land in the distant background and the rich blues of the sea are visually attracive to me. The somewhat strong borders of almost solid colors make this image close to abstract in some aspects.

I personally like visualizing patterns and shapes when I am out shooting and perhaps this is why I'm attracted to the image.

This is a great picture. The color of the terrain with the warm sun on it is very pleasant. The sheer size of the hills in the background puts the size of the people and horses in perspective.

I am assuming the riders could feel either very lonely or very much at peace here. While I think a little more sky would have been useful and the foreground a bit brighter, I think this is a great shot.

I think that the shape of the larger building is actually rather interesting due to the reflection which gives it an unusual trapezoid shape.

Based the sepia tone type qualities of this image, if it were not for the two girls in the foreground, I would have thought is was taken many years ago. Bien fait.
