Well, the point of view is certainly that, ground zero. Again, this image follows from the other two and it seemingly further explores the dilemma of the young man from the previous image. However, this time, one figure is in shadow and the monument is no longer a solitary expression of the society, but it seems that there are people who actually belong to it and support its conformity. Nice contours, composition and colour, well focused and certainly speaks a lot with its symbolic content.

Well, I cannot see the people on the lower right, so the monument is bound to be enormous. This monument reminds me of the idea of divine design, that is, simple and minimalist architectural shapes that one can drape in colourful lights, cloth, or a mass of people in movement. It seems like a new direction for your photographic work.

This is an excellent depiction of the a caged soul in line with the old Iranian philosophers... The overexposure does add to the overall atmosphere of the image.

The colour version works well. It shows off the colour within her cheecks, a little flushed. The cropping is a little too tight and the image might work in a square format.

A good lesson on how to slander with an image. I am sure these women are perfectly normal and decent people, yet a number of viewers of this image have seen some sort of a seedy sleezy side that might not be there. A picture taken out of context, out of the movement before and after. Perhaps it is thus important to ask the 'models' for their permission to publish such a picture.

This is a good shot... well composed, good framing, good dof and overall it works well as a painting. I particularly like the lines that the gondola makes in terms of the angle of the shot... It reminds me of a giant pea pod with the gondolier as a pea. The black and white frame complements the shot and adds to the overall graphic effect.

Friendly, yet he does not take his eye away off you. Interesting teeth. The close cropping does bring an in-your-face quality to the image. Sepia tones accentuate the texture of his skin and aged patina.

does it? one could argue that intuition is still part of the dark. perhaps it would work better in black and white with a much higher contrast value.

Yes, one can empathise with the woman... the gray border is a little disturbing, the image looks like a still from a b&w film... it seems a little awkward to have a large area of her back face the audience. I suppose that is how her speech may be coming across.

Hey, are you really getting good at this or... hmm... the contrast and graphical quality of this and your previous posting are quite excellent. Stark, yet good content.
