I like your image. You have done a great job of defining the different areas with the strong shadow inthe foreground. I think the frame is too distracting though, and that the colours could be pulled out a bit more. I have done a workshop to show you what I mean

I don't know what story you are trying to tell here. I am not sure if I can't see the picture through the trees, or if this contrast is what you are trying to highlight. A more developed note here may help the viewer. If "Nature" is your theme, then you may want to try to avoid getting power lines in the image. If the Urban area is the main aspect of your image, then you should focus on that and try to not hide it behind the trees.

Your varieties of greens in this picture are fantastic. What I think this image may be missing is a story. A photo instructor once told me that every picture must tell a story, and it is those whose stories are most clear that touch people most significantly. In this image you are trying to show the viewer the lush variety of hte Australian bush, but you have cropped much of the bush out.

I like the texture of the water as well!! I think the water is a touch over exposed, so I am wondering what would happen if you exposed for the colour of the water, and permitted the person to go into silhouette.

a teacher once told me that every image needs to tell a story, have a focus. I think this image has some great colours, but lacks definition and a focus.

it looks like this image was scanned onto the computer. there are printer lines on the picture and dust on the scanner bed.

This shot has some absolutly amazing colours! My only concern is that I don't know where to look! its all so beautiful, and active, it needs a focus
