another excellent reportage. I sometimes think about the rural lifestyle in Poland which I remember from me as a child visiting family in the countryside. I think nobody live in that way anymore. I wonder if there are events which would celebrate those old rituals as they were before. In any case it is a fantastic story and so beautifully told with your high quality reportage photos.

wspaniala fotografia blue hour. Tamto zdjecie zrobione za dnia bylo doskonale -tutaj dodatkowo dochodzi jeszcze efekt wieczornej romantycznej atmosfery. Rownie perfekcyjne wykonanie, znakomity balans ekspozycji -niebo nie moglo byc lepsze.
Nic dodac nic ujac. Ale Ci zazdroszcze ze mieszkasz w turystycznie atrakcyjnym miejscu z tyloma mozliwosciami do blue hour!

spectacular sky indeed. I like the colors and shapes here. You composed it perfectly with including some nice silhouettes and placing the clouds diagonally in the frame. Nice contrast of the hot clouds and the colder sky.

Jestes zbyt produktywna :)
Ladne kolorki -dobrze wypatrzone. Najbardziej mi sie podobaja te malutkie bardziej stylowe w centrum zdjecia. Takie wlasnie male kolorowe drewniane domki mi sie kojarza z Norwegia.
Interesujaco to wyglada ja jakies klocki..

wow this is so beautiful! I like very much the well saturated natural colors. The green is so intense! Sky so well polarized!
The houses seem to have a consistent style, it results in a pleasant final effect.

It is indeed an interesting composition. With the houses it is often true that the more damaged the more photogenic. The colors are quite extraordinary.
We have some things in common like the weakness for blue hour photography but also we have also quite a different taste for destinations as you pointed out recently on the occasion of me presenting a beach.
As much as I would love to visit spectacular landscapes of Norway I would hesitate now to go to India.
It is recently appearing as one of the least safe places for tourists. There are frequent reports of sexual assault on foreigners. Some places I did not mind to visit alone but I would not like to take my wife there. Now with my daughter even more places are off the list. The risk is too high.
I see you must have gone a lot off the beaten track and this is exactly where the bad incidents in India happen. When the European woman was gang raped and her husband heavily injured -Indian police commented that it is their fault as they went off the beaten track.
So some places I prefer to watch in other people photos rather than being there myself. One more reason to be on TE :)
You are asking if local people are aware of how photogenic their town is... I think short term as a tourist walk with a camera -this appears as an interesting place to be, however if you really think about person who lives in this house. Well it is first of all quite dirty. Heavily damaged. It is in fact a slums like area. I don't think local people really enjoy living under such conditions. I am not saying that they cannot be happy but if someone was proud of this place I would rather guess this person is crazy.
Nevertheless I see your point: it is quite photogenic for tourists from the western world as such poverty is something different than things they are used to.

lovely composition with the fragments of the boats. Great colors and nice reflection in the water. Very well spotted. It seems from the reflecion that the weather was not optimal but you did a fantastic job and the colors are so vivid.

czy to w tym kosciele schowane jest serce Szopena?
Wspaniala pocztowkowa prezentacja. Doskonale swiatlo! Takie cieple i przyjenne. Niebo delikatnie czasami musniete sladami chmurek.

what a lovely composition. Greek people must have a great sense of design and beauty. It is quite characteristic to see those simple yet so charming compositions found on little streets or corners. Using minimal number of decorative elements you are guys able to compose something eye catching.
This composition here is one more example of it.
Have a great weekend,
