nice capture of the Bay Bridge. This one is so less frequently photographed than the Golden Gate Bridge. I like your composition here. It is not easy to make it interesting -you did a fantastic job here, I am very impressed. I like the symmetry and the repeated element of the bridge.

How could I have missed it?
Well the answer is quite easy: I had to make difficult choices.
Usually when going to a new town I checked all the elevated viewpoint like towers etc but recently I don't do it anymore since I would need to leave my wife and daughter behind.
I love this view, great composition where you have also included a fragment of the tower in the foreground, it enhances interest. The big street cuts in nicely in the distance. I like also quite decorative sky!
Very attractive view, excellent work!

lovely composition from Marseille.
Very elegant buildings taken from great viewpoint and captured in amazing light which makes everything warm and orange. Buildings aligned along the street in the distance make a nice diagonal across the frame.
Very well spotted!

thanks to the clear reflection of the sky in the water we have an impression as if the little isles were hanging out in the sky almost as the islands presented in the Avatar movie. Extraordinary effect. I like very much the amazing clarity, sharpness and colors here.
Finding a house in there is quite surprising as the originally expected scale of the place is much smaller. Nice diagonal composition.

great POV here from above makes this scene so interesting. The characteristic hats add to original geometry, the food is quite colorful and hands of the women quite damaged (they work similarly to damaged faces of old people - very photogenic). All of he elements are well arranged in he frame.

I understand your sentiment to this picture. I have visited Amsterdam just once but really wanted to have it ticked on my Trek Earth map. Sadly my photos were analog and the weather was really bad and so I picked one picture from my collection which is also not a very good quality but I have a satisfaction of having Netherlands ticked off my list :) I guess you had a similar feeling here :)
Since you go there regularly may be you will have a chance to improve it next time :)

to be honest I did not expect anything spectacular looking at the miniature but I was quite impressed to see it in real size (I use beta-TrekEarth quite frequently now). The charming colorful houses are nicely squeezed by the perspective. Great composition, I like it. I always like having the street names, this is something quite characteristic and in Spain often artistic as well..
Fantastic colors here with blue sky going well with the orange tones of the town.
Very well spotted.
Since my daughter goes to school next year I checked available destinations for the school breaks next year and Menorca seems quite a cheap option for October break... so who knows I may go there soon :)

I have seen this photo on FB already. It is so beautiful! I am very impressed by the multitude of colors here. I have seen something similar in Ireland but the weather is quite bad there so the colors are rarely that emphasized. Pictures from Lisa also show similar place in Tasmania, bay of Fire.... I am so glad there are such beautiful places near here in Europe. I see there are direct flights from Manchester to Corse...
You said the south is the most beautiful right?
Excellent work! I love the colors! So well saturated and natural!

quite a funny scene. Last year I had a problem with gas boiler in winter and indeed it took a while to order a replacement part, I did not have a wood prepared but fortunately I borrowed an electrical heater :)
I like how clean and tidy this place is, everything perfectly organized,
Very well spotted,
