That's the world-famous Bellagio hotel and casino, which is perhaps the most prominent hotel you can see on the Strip in Las Vegas from atop the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel and casino. Great shot -- great POV!

Coit Tower is one of my favorite landmarks in S.F., and you've found a spectacular POV for it! Nice work!

I'm taking a trip to the Flathead Valley in Montana in about a month and will be spending a little bit of time in Glacier National Park. When I think about the kinds of pictures I hope to be able to create while up there, this exact type of scene comes to mind.
This is a gorgeous picture. Great framing of the mountains, and the addition of the canoers makes it more than simply a nice shot out in nature. It makes you wonder what the story is behind this pair of canoers -- where they're going and what they've already seen.
This photo is already part of my inspiration for the types of photographs I hope to make on my own trip. Thanks for sharing it!

Scott -- I just returned from Maui and got to experience the same great bike ride down Haleakala that you did!
I wish I had ventured out of the one small area I sat in to take sunrise photos to get a different perspective like the one you've got here. I love the simplicity of this shot and I love the jagged shapes the trees form silhouetted against the cloud layer.
Be sure to check out some of my Maui photos; I'd love to get your thoughts on them!

I can't even begin to describe how ridiculously AMAZING this shot is. The colors are out of this world. Great, great work from a great point of view as the driftwood points you out toward the sky. BEAUTIFUL!!!

Another absolutely gorgeous shot. I love photos that don't need any explaining -- photos that tell stories, even if you don't know what those stories are. This image tells all kinds of stories. The point of view is also perfect, with a great diagonal line being created with the wall of rocks along the bottom. Wonderful work!

The only thing really distinguishing this shot looking like the year 2006 versus the year 1946 or so is the cars. Remove those cars, and you'd almost have no idea this was taken in the present day. That's why I love it so much. Those homes are begging to tell their histories. Beautiful image. I love it!

Beautiful image, Kirk. This will definitely make me try out some infrared settings rather than going with straight BW in the future. I'd be proud to have this in my home as a framed print!

Nice panorama! As a frequent Disney visitor, I know this location very well! This turned out quite nice! So, if no tripod was used, I'm assuming you set your camera on the fence? If you handheld this for five seconds, you've got the steadiest hands on the planet!
