Hi Ike,
You know by now that if I see a bird on one of your pages, I can't help bu stop by !
This is a wonderful capture of the black, white and brown elegant bird on the sunny, flowery background.
A truly cheerful photograph.
Thanks for sharing.
All the best.
Marie-Louise.

Hi Neyvan,
An excellent photo for your first one on TE.
Your POV in diagonal is great on this beautiful building mixing modern and a bit of classical style.
Your management of colours, light and sharpness is excellent.
Congratulations.

Hi Neyvan,
A very good capture of these two very different buildings. The contrast in colours and architecture is striking.
The view is very well framed, by the trees and sky first, then by your black frame.
I like the reflections in the modern building, and I notice the little, blue squares as eye-catchers : They seem to be opening windows !
TFS and have a good evening.
Marie-Louise.

Marie-Louise.

Hi Murat,
So, you have been to Puerto Rico too, and you trekked "El Yunque". What a wonderful place isn't it ?
We did pass by the Visitors Centre before starting the climb, but I don't remember this POV through the modern structure.
Excellent view and great DOF.
Here is my souvenir of El Yunque.
Best regards.
Marie-Louise.

Dear Murat,
America is a land of such contrast ! You telling us these communities are quite common near where you live. We in Europe think it's more for history or films ! Although I did see an Amish family once visiting the Arch of St Louis Illinois. Quite something !
You were so right to take the pic from your passenger seat with whichever camera you had at hand ! It was definitely worth including it for its documentary value, but you also made a good job with the colour buggy in the B&W background.
I have made a WS too, which I will add tomorrow when my quota is back.

Hi Murat,
I remember coming across this one just by chance in the general gallery, when you posted it in February, and thought it was really great. So, I just marked the note useful, didn't critique it, because most of the time, I never get any feedback from the new members I critique. So I never know if they have appreciated my comment or what... Often find later that they haven't pursued their effort on TE...
Anyway, that's beside the point.
So, while reviewing your gallery, I was surprised to find out this great photo was yours.
I couldn't think of a more original, interesting, cultural image. I wish more people had stopped by the post :-(
Moreover, the photo is incredible with this snowy atmosphere so well contrasted by the yellow taxis. Where are the horses by the way ?
I have always been fascinated by the Amish and how they have kept their oldest ways of life. I thought the communities were somehow diminishing fast, but this shows they seem to be going strong still.
I haven't got a theme for my TE friends' best photos, but I have added this picture to my favourites. You know the little star that appears next to the thumbnail.
Best regards.
Marie-Louise.

Hi Gert,
Very nice capture of this audience in the mosque.
I like the subdued tones on the inside walls, and the delicate light coming through the stained-glass windows.
Is it common for the men coming to pray separately from the women ?
Thanks for sharing and have a good Sunday !
Best wishes.
Marie-Louise.
