Hi Pavle!
An interesting photo which is a reminder of the recent war in your part of the world!
A photo which shows something else than beauty, but which must be shown, to "learn about the world (and its history) through photography."
Thanks for sharing!
Best regards.

Hi Bratislav!
This is lovely and rather unusual, to see a church in the middle of the fields! I wonder why they built it there, especially as it seems quite new! Normally they put the churches in built-up areas near where the people live.
In Sweden, there are quite a few very old churches in the middle of the countryside. It looks very picturesque!
I like your POV with the sun enhancing the already-bright church. Its position in front of this beautiful panorama of hills gives a very good effect! Enough to turn an atheist into a Christian:-))
It must be lovely for the congregation to come to church every Sunday in such a setting; and I suppose the house is where the priest lives. Not bad eh?
Best regards.

Hi Asa!
This must be an incredible experience, somewhat frightening except for the people who are really used to it! And you captured the scene extremely well! Is that a sea bird in competition with the aircraft! Good shot!
I see no tourists are lying or going about their usual business! They are all on the alert. I suppose no matter how often one has experienced such a landing, it must always be quite something to see (and hear) every time!
Thanks for sharing, and have a good week!
Marie Louise.

Hi Shazza!
This panorama is just out of this world, and I expect typically Canadian! I can't think of anything like it in Europe!
And the fact that you didn't do any PP makes it even more stunning!
I really like the pinkish light behind the clouds, due to the approaching twilight!
The sky takes most part of the picture, and it's good, because it's the most impressive.
However, I also like the composition with the ferry coming out of the straight between the mountains on to the mirror-like bay!
TFS, and best regards!
Marie Louise.

Marie Louise.

Hi Marcin!
Your picture looks very nice and bright, no matter the tilt on whichever side!
But I am sorry to say I am going "to set the cat amongst the pigeons". I have just watched the film "HOME" by Yann-Arthus Bertrand, a must for anybody who wants our planet to still live by the end onf the 21st century!
Dubai is the worst example of the stupidity of our development through fossil energy which will send our planet to its doom, and which will have dried out by the middle of this century!
Dubai has no natural water, so it desalinates at considerable cost in fossil energy!
Dubai has no fields; so it imports its food at considerable cost in fossil energy!
It wouldn't be so bad if it was only for its inhabitants; but it multiplies its population with tourists and people working for them. These workers are often treated like slaves, especially when they come from poor countries, including sexual slaves, to give the tourists a chance for "a few sinful pleasures" (wikitravel).
Dubai has a lot of sun, but it ignores solar panels!
I hope I haven't hurt you, but I just couldn't go without commenting on the folly of the country!
Of course, we all contribute to the catastrophe which is taking place! But Dubai is the worst example of the bad development!
With all my best wishes!
Marie Louise.

Bonjour Jose!

Hi Danos!
This is absolutely beautiful and so interesting concerning the cultural heritage of China! Is Xitang part of the Unesco world heritage by the way?
Your POV is wonderful, acting like a round window opening onto the canal beyond: I like the view through the "window", the barge, the next bridge and the red decorations on the houses!
The colours and sharpness are great!
Thanks for sharing and have a good Sunday!

Hola Elias!
Saludos cordiales!
Marie Louise.
