Hi Alptekin, Having visited London recently, I was viewing the TE gallery of this city to compare some of my shots with what was in there. I stopped on this nice capture of queen Boadicea(You can just about read her name in gold letters on the stone stand.) She was a Celtic queen who rallied a lot of tribes from Britain, that were badly oppressed by the Romans. She lived from 30 to 61 BC and was unfortunately defeated, but remains a heroin of Britain unto this day. She is represented on this statue, which stands in Westminster, with her two daughters, Comorra and Tasca, who took part in the battle at her side. It's not easy to capture the two daughters at the same time, but I have one pic which I shot in 2009, where you can just about see the three valiant women. I shall post it in WS for you. I like your capture with the green light, but I think she is saying to her horses "Don't stop ! Go !" :-)- [workshop] [compare] [+]

Hi Engin, As I said in the WS note, we were both attracted by the same sight, 8 years apart. Although I am surprised to see the date when you took the photo. I find it strange to see hay in the field at the back, in February. I like the graphic composition and the play of colourful light on the scenery. Thanks for sharing. Lovely expression on the baby's face. He seems to be wondering who that man is with the funny apparatus that's the camera ! I see that in Iran it's like everywhere else in the world : People always busy looking at their mobile telephones :-) Thanks for sharing. Marie-louise.

Nice picture with good perspective. The portico opening up to some greenery, the stones and the attitude of the people exude a cool atmosphere, in both meanings pf the words. Very nice to have built this place in hope of Peace ! If it only came true, instead of the situation getting worse and worse as time goes by. TFS. Marie-Louise.

Hi Apurba, Welcome to Trekearth ! This morning, I was attracted by this pretty house which could have well been in the Austrian country side ! I wonder if it dates back to the British colony. It looks like a typical bungalow, the English word coming from Hindi, isn't that right ? I would love to be there in the peaceful atmosphere. The large trees in the foreground are very impressive. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards. Marie-Louise.
