I knew where this shot was as soon as I saw it. It is a great trip through the hills, you did well getting this shot from a moving bus.

Good perspective Gren. I don't mind the length of the peir, I think it adds something to the mood of the photo.
I don't know how to use photoshop well enough to remove the sticks in the foreground, but would be interested to see how this would affect the perspective. I don't think the photo would have worked very well without the storm and the dark blues it created.

Excellent photo Alvin.
If you stare at it for long enough it appears as if the wooden poles are just hovering in mid air. It is very still water.
I agree that you are a little too close with this shot. A little less zoom or 2 steps back may have helped. Fantastic shot none the less.

I like it a lot Joe, it reminds of those puzzles where you have to move the squares around to get the right picture.

It's a beautiful scene Paul, well captured. The colours work very well and I think you have the horizon in a good position. The clouds have helped make this a better shot also.
I am always frustrated when I have a good photo with a plain grey sky.

I feel sick, but I can't look away either.
You get marks for being able to hold the camera steady while looking at this scene. It is certainly an original image.

Great shot Armand,
The silhouettes are excellent, especially the man standing on the front of the boat. I also think the simple border works very well.
I wish I was there right now.
