who could resist a train like this? I know I can't!
wouldn't it be cool to have the opportunity to actually drive the train? now thats fun!
they do look a little TOO perfect though :)
It'd be better if they had a bit of rust and grime on them

so are those rice fields in the fg?
they are often a subject of such importance to photographers when traveling to Asian countries :)
the more i investigate this scene the more i enjoy it.
love the rusted shacks on the left, and the volcanoe too.

this is a shot we'd usually see from our TE friend Juan (JFS) but he's no longer with us on this site.
this is actually a 10 out of 10 shot in my books.
love how you composed all the subjects.
its not so easy to do to make them look attractive as you did.
3 main subjects, all blending together. It's like you have created modern art!!!

well, i can honestly say i've never ever seen a blue hour photo with trailing car lights of this area.
first for everything i guess.
and its cool to use the natural landscape in and around the buildings from the modern day.
cool 'city' shot

seems quite funny to see the sculpture just sitting there, so calmly with crossed legs, enjoying the view of the charming homes.
you were able to get a wonderful collection of colors, and the blue sky puts it all together.
love the tiny little windows on the yellow house in the middle. excellent subjects

I've mentioned it before how we just don't have these styles of light fixtures in Canada...and I don't know why!
Seems to be so common in and around Europe to find such lights.
the timber house in the bg is a fine secondary subject to compliment the lights too.

so what lens was this? you say its a wide angle, and you know that's right up my alley.
this could quite easily be a photo thats in my gallery.
speaking of galleries, I was surprised to see that you have posted 17 shots from Russia already! thats alot, and it's only going to climb I guess.
my favorite part of the scene are actually the steps.
they just look so cool, that, and the large red/brown door.
you won't see this building style in Vancouver! haha
cool subject, cool post
see you around mate

haha...thanks for this one!
Much appreciated :)
the two men on the left do have a more intense eye contact with you, where as the man on the far right is much more relaxed and settled.
very interesting note about the swastika as well, I didn't know that.
gotta love these posts that are inspired by others :)
