Hi John
Who would have thought i'd be writting a critique from Santiago Chile!!!!! I actually had NO intentions to do so.....i was just going to check my emails and such. That all changed when i viewed your photo here. What a shot my friend! What a shot! The dark light and the entire presentation is so beautiful to my eyes. Wouldnt change a darn thing. It looks haunting will still keeping a softer look too. What can i say....one of your best.
I should get going...getting up super early to catch a flight to cusco peru.
Cheers

Hi Lisa
I just viewed Malgo's photo taken in the early morning sunrise with the tripod, she should use the tripod more often - it came out very good!
as for you, this is for sure a classic Lisa shot.
are you sure you weren't a fish in some other life!? :)
you love the water, the beach, marina's, rocks, so this is for sure right up your alley.
thank god for the clods eh? they blocked that white light!
cool atmosphere and mood!
Ok, have to go now, Tosca and I are packing and stressing out lol
trying to pack for hot and cold temps is so hard!!!
Its gonna be cold during the hike, at high altitude at night camping, it'll be below zero. But when we arrive in Santiago, and in Lima Peru its gonna be 30! How do you pack for that when its a necessity to pack light!!
sigh...
anyways, I shouldn't complain.
ok...take care,
and keep looking out for Instagram shots of our trip :)
cheers

Hi Beverley
another cute and historic subject in your gallery.
and i can't get enough of these names...Shrewsbury! awesome :)
alot of thought went into this compo, i like it when you use the branches up above to full up the dead space in the frame - but it has to be done effectively - as you've shown here.
and the potted flowers offer a nice lead-in too :)
I would love to take a walk through that castle, i bet its gorgeous inside.
lovely shot all around, charming indeed!
see you around

John John John John!!
you should do MORE of these nature scenes my friend!
I'm no expert, but just by memory in re-viewing your gallery, these wide open landscape shots of yours are your best quality shots. In my opinion anyways.
how could anyone not love this.
the lighting on the sides of the hills, the deep blue/black water, the marshmellow clouds!...its a keeper my friend.
The scene looks so nice I don't even want to scroll down to read the note! haha
Hey...maybe THIS is where the Lochness Monster lives...eh?
have a great day my friend

Hi Silvio
I will never get tired of seeing these photos from the La Defense.
Did you get the opportunity to walk around in it and get some architectural scenes? Did you meet up with Jean Jacques?
lovely POV here, seeing the total scene from way back.
a fun image for me to view
cheers
