you know what this hospital looks like right?
it looks like a typical Psychiatric Hospital.
most Psychiatric Hospitals are built in this exact same construction style.
ours here in Vancouver looks exactly like yours, same colors too :)
the yellows, blues and reds all work well together to create an attractive color set.

yeah, we dont get to see such architecture here in Vancouver :)
glad to hear the sky's opened up for you, enough to see it and capture it here on this day.
the copper contrasts so well against the blue sky, its perfect to catch our attention.
fun shot, elegant subject

this one dazzles the visual senses :)
lots going on with this building/monestery.
the green and blue parts look like they are in 3D.
it would be interesting to see the inside too.
good details for us to explore here

this IS a beauty!!!!!
wow...what a building.
it seems so funny to NOW see "LG" advertised along the bottom of this historic site.
the original owners would be disgusted :)
this is a color of blue that we don't see in buildings, its fantastic.
and i love the shape and artistic style of it too.

well, i have to be honest my friend...I'm not a fan of whaling - i think its rather sad.
in todays world and time, I don't quite understand the need to hunt and kill a whale.
whales are such intelligent and sophisticated creatures, it breaks my heart even thinking about it.
But I suppose thats a story for another time.
its easy to see why you'd want to capture this scene isn't? water reflections, sweet attractive light, white and orange color combinations...its perfectly suited for a photographer.
nice shot indeed.
have a great weekend

thanks for this look into the old character home.
the outer walls are quite amazing with so much detail.
and that window on the right is super! so strange.
same with the rooftop.

as you may imagine, my knowledge of Russian cities is extremely limited...i have no idea where this place is in the country...i'll have to look it up on the google map.
you certainly had a wonderful day to take photos, with a bright blue sky with cloud coverage...the best.
such ornate architecture, I wonder...is this the only church that looks like this in town? or are there several just like it?

John makes an interesting comment about the focal length you shot this scene at, and he's right.
and you couldn't have chosen a better title, it totally suits the scene.
Hopefully te members will appreciate the skill and creativity that went into this architecture shot, I do.
