This viewpoint has to be classic, but I don't remember havings seen this before. Awesome old bridge. Beautiful hilly cityscape. That boat is perfectly placed. Sidelight is excellent. I'm going to Porto next week and am looking forwards to see these views myself.

Wow, those wall details are really well carved, and it is really worth opening this picture on bigger size. It is also very interesting to see the town and hilly landscape in the background, although the brightness difference brings the contrast to the edge of overexposure.

I've seen photos of this festival. And it certainly is quite interesting to see that pink colour in this contexts instead of the wild and intense action of the festival. Rough texture is quite impressive and so is her expression, whatever it means.

So, your roots are deep in Australian soil, besides Irish and Italian. Sheep, intense sunshine and wide open landscape are all quite Australian. Backlight works well. It is essential that you got that one sheep looking at you.

Colourful view from the old town. All those old buildings look quite picturesque. Sun shines nicely and hilly terrain adds depth to perspective. I'm going to Porto next week and looking forward to see these scenes myself.

You have shown as many snowy pictures but I certainly didn't expect one from springtime Japan. So even though this is B&W I expect that's snow on the tree, not cherry blossoms!
You know sometimes it's very nice to walk around on such a weather, if you are well clothed.

Lovely light. Yuor darkish exposure and wet looking clouds give good contrasty result. You have good focus on the little boats on the foreground. This doesn't at all have a feeling of a major tourist island.
