American films have made this classic Checker taxi so familiar for everyone, even us who have never visited USA.
On this shot it really looks like it's ready for duty, sometime in 1970's. Excellent low and wide angle shot. This makes me wonder what kind of old car supplies all those movie makers have.

I can imagine what kind of bumpy ride it is to travel on narrow gravel roads on an old truck without a seat.
Surprisingly stylish, probably Soviet built truck, I like the white and blue combination.
Truely tropical looking landscape.

Close and wide angle looks really good on such classic car shots. And as the sun was this side it was a good choice to take a tail photo. Background landscape looks very good to.
I didn't know either, but with a curious mind I made a Google picture search, and came to conclusion that it's a model year 1963.

A view full of nostalgic feeling. Old dirt road and a classic car from 1920's (?). And those trees leaning over the road so that almost no empty space is left within the frame. Wide angle looks great on this.

I like the intense reddish colours of this one. Warm, and positively hippie feeling. Setting of these people, one facing you and one sideways makes this look dynamic.
Reading you note, this sounds quite interesting town to visit.

Wow that's intense orange sunset light. I like the viewpoint, as if you were reluctant to leave the beach even when the sun goes down. All the sand on the steps looks good too.
So that's why Sydneysiders are early risers, because sunsets are no good :)
You know, I would call that one straight. Because the vertical line nearest the center is vertical.
