Hi Auf. I like this shot of this chedi just near to my house. It works well to concentrate of the central chedi arising above the trees. You have a good note too. I may be a bit contrasty, showing none of the detail in the shaded areas, lightening them might imporve the shot. I have done a workshop to show what I mean.regards Kevin

What a riot of colours and textures. Marc! and such a monument to the disappearance of the old, working class districts of Paris! I remember my love for the area of La Basin De La Villette, in the past. (1983 to 1986) when I lived in Paris. When I went back to visit it 10 years later it was gone. The narrow streets full of life and colour, the lovely local restaurants and cafes where all gone. Such a rich and lovely quattier of Paris had been destroyed to build hideous apartments blocks for the rich. An area of the real, real Paris was gone forever. Your picture seems to be a monument ot such districts who, I suppose, are in danger of 'devellopement" still. Regrades Kevin

What a lovely presentation of this fascinating and historic area! The ancient structure looks wonderful against the mountainous landscape and makes a fine documentary record. You have managed to arranged the structure within the frame in an attractive way. Regards Kevin

Hi Zoe. This is a wonderful structure and you have composed it for maximum impact and mood. it's a simple, strong image and full of atmosphere. However, i do wish you had told us more about the place; it's exact location and its history. The place and your image deserve that. Also, it would be improved by correcting the perpendicular distortion. It looks a bit like it is falling over. i have done a little workshop to show what I mean, Regards kevin

What a wonderful sea of green, Marilyn. The green of growing rice is a very special colour and it is nicely caught amidst the tropical landscape. The roof of the sala and the banana trees in the foreground make a nice feature. Regards kevin

A nice architectural detail and cultural document, crisply and nicely framed and exposed, Antonio. Black and white is an unusual choice for such a vivid subject, but I see you point and it works well, Regards kevin

What extraordinary riot of rich, deep colours and textures. You exposure here is just perfect. There is real poignancy between the dark prone figure and the rampant, vivid divinity above. It is a truly memprable image. Regards. kevin

Hi Ana. so you have wandered into our region, far from your usual Portuguese churches. This portrait of a little nun frames in soft blue, is charming and the Burmese script below adds nice context. Regards kevin

Hi Philippe. What lovely , soft colours. You have managed to capture the sort of impressionist splash of colours that this season invites with a real sense of structure. The road, the banks, the rows of trees impose pattern on this riot of autumnal colour. Regards Kevin
