This has to be one of the best pictures I have seen from the Tibetan region. The way the road seems to turn into a mountain, and the lonely person in the foreground. Just excellent.

I love this photo for two reasons. First, because it is a beautiful shot. The colors and the Monks are extraordinary. My second reason is that I met that Monk sitting on the right during my visit there in 2005. It's nice to know he is still there. Perhaps I will go back to visit him someday.

I love the picture. I posted a similar one, taken from about the same angle, that was taken in 2004. The difference in the city is remarkable. I am so jealous that you were able to visit there when you did. Tibet was only opened to foreigners a few years when you were there, and Lhasa was a small, sleepy city, not the mess it is today. I wish I could have seen it then.

I like everything about this picture. The expression on her face speaks volumes about her faith. The light works exceptionally well in framing her face. Nice job!!

A great shot. I think the sepia tone works well, although I would also like to see it in B&W, just to compare. The Man's face is so full of character.
