I'm surprised that no one has commented on this photo before now. The color and composition are good, the road and sign are visually interesting, and the sign slicing through the stacked layers (gravel, then red rock, then the road, then the valley, three layers of mountains, and finally the sky) is good as well. My one complaint is that the scan is very grainy.

Exceptionally lovely! Nothing to critique so far as I can see, everything looks fantastic! I especially like the contrast effect of the sharp trees against the soft fog.

This caught my eye because it's my home city and I drive this stretch at least once a week. What makes it interesting is that I never see this view since it's looking the wrong way up a one way street. :-) As to the photo itself, however, it looks a touch washed out to me. The sun here can be quite intense, and I think it got the better of the exposure in this case.

See, this is what TE is supposed to be about - a good photo that actually tells us something about the place in which it was taken. The only thing I would like to see isn't a critique on the photo - just some notes about the situation at hand? Great capture on the birds, in particular. Welcome!

Of all your photos, this is the one that really caught my eye. Fantastic color. The curtains billowing on the gates are reminding me of the robes of Tibetan monks.

As I said in my workshop, the basic shot is really nice, but it needs a little tweaking. I grayscaled, brightened, constrasted and lightly sharpened the image, and cropped the buildings and radio towers out from the right side. Hope you like it!

These are lovely - are they wild/native? I have no idea who Jill Thompson is or why they are her flowers..? But the color is wonderful and the crispness of the reflection is remarkable.

The image could use some sharpening, but I'm not sure how to accomplish that without worsening the fringing around the tower windows. Knowing nothing about your camera is leaving me without any real suggestions to improve the clarity. It also looks to me like the color is off, like it's too blue, I think. That said, I love the roof at DIA, and this particular crop - the idea of it - is a good one.

I really like the color and the way everything seems to curve, and the focus is good. Looking at the horizon, perhaps a little crooked? Not sure that detracts from the image, however.
