I love this picture. I love the colors, the silhouttes and the shapes of the window. I have learned something from it also. Normally I would not dare to do a picture in such light conditions. You used 1/10 seconds exposition. But there is not movement blur. Perhaps becasue people were concentrated on the animals and they did not move. Beautiful everything, as I said. Even people that are only on the left side help to create two different themes in that picture.

Ah, me gusta como sabes sacar buenas fotos de cualquier cosa. Aquí, un bosque con su luz filtrándose entre la arboleda, sus sombras y su ambiente místico. Lo mejor, desde el punto de vista técnico, el tratamiento de la luz. Yo también tenía una foto de un bosque preparada para subir. Pero "mi" bosque no era más que una chopera y ahora, después de haber visto esta foto, ¿quién se atreve a subir la otra?

Hola Carlos:
Me gusta el aspecto daliniano de la foto, en la que casi no hay líneas rectas. La plaza tiene un aspecto impresionante aunque quizás la catedral ha quedado un poco roma, sin que se puedan apreciar sus impresionantes agujas. Aunque para ello ya está la otra foto que tienes en el enlace y que me encanta. En fín, buen trabajo y desde luego bien currado con esas veinte fotos unidas para dar este resultado.

A mí también me toca coger muchos aviones y muchas horas de espera para embarcar. Estoy, por ello, de acuerdo con tu nota. Tener una cámara a mano puede hacer la espera menos tediosa. Aunque yo nunca consigo hacer fotos como ésta. Sí, en lo básico, tenemos la arquitectura moderna e impresionante de los aeropuertos y personas moviéndose o esperando. Lo que para mí es el éxito de la foto, es el fuerte contraluz. Las personas aparecen como siluetas irreconocibles. No son nadie y, por eso, pueden ser cualquiera. Cualquiera puede sentirse uno de los de esta foto. Eso hace que la sintamos más cercana.

Me gusta la inclinación de la cámara que da una impresión de velocidad. También, incluso, el que la foto esté algo movida, dentro de un orden. Eso aumenta la sensación de que algo excitante está pasando. Lo que más me atrae es como las chispas se extienden desde un punto arriba en la foto por toda la parte derecha en forma de radios.
Finalmente, hay que felicitar el valor para meterse en este jaleo a hacer la foto. ¿Ibas tan tapado como los que salen en la foto o a pecho descubierto? Sólo un par de veces, cuando era más joven, he estado en "correfoc" y asusta un poco. Sobre todo unos petardos que los llamaban aquí "encorreviejas". Esos tenían muy mala intención.

Great view and great range of grey. Instead of showing a view of the central nave you selected another part of this building. Though your photo is more thant 30 years old, it has something innovative. Well done.

Regarding your note, there I think it is something wrong. According to Wikipedia, the Cathedral of Cologne was the World's tallest building from 1880 to 1890 when it was surpassed by the Cathedral of Ulm (Germany). It was also the World's tallest structure (category to which the Eiffel tower belong, I think) from 1880 to 1884, suceeded by the Washington Monument in USA.

Good visual deception, of which you got good use.
About this building, I must say, it is not one of my favourites. In the city of the buildings of Antonio Gaudi and all the rest of great architects of the modernism, it is difficult to understand why this monstrosity has been erected (no double meaning here, ;))
If the locals call it "the dick", good for them. I call this building "the suppository", which indicates where it should end.

Hi Pentti,
sorry for the bad critique, but I prefer the original one as this cropped version. The blue colors in the original are great and make it more natural. This one looks like a little artificial, like it had strong change of contrast with Photoshope, which is not really the case, but it looks like it was.

Beautiful composition, almost like a painting. The lavander plants create an interesting visual effect. Sometimes they look like an animal.

Very good note, though after reading it, we can not consider a surprise that the Finns erected this statue. This man did a lot for the autonomy and the independence of Finnland.
I like the composition of the photo in which there are three parts clearly defined. To the left the groups of statues with the one of Alexander II, to the right, the street lamp and all the rest is the white church. The squared format of the photo is also a success.
