Hello Bulent -
This is a nice scene and a bit moody with the back light and dark shadows. I do like the specular highlights in this scene as they seem to be a critical element of the scene. The haze, under normal circumstances would be a big draw back, seems to work well and enhances the moodiness of the scene. Well done with the transfer to digital.
Than you for sharing.

Hello Dan -
I like how the side light is lighting up the leaves from the background. The two areas of color seem to be well placed, but the fade off of light and color on the long branch seems to suck diminish the what light there is. I wish you had had full light on the longer branch to keep it from fading into the BG. A nice image anyway.
Thank you for sharing.

Hello Jaap -
Another excellent image of those Dutch skies! There are so many things in this images are spot on it is hard to categorize them. The road is a critical item to lead us into the scene and it leads directly to the rainbow and the sky. The windmill is placed perfectly to maintain proportions within the scene. Spot on!

Hello John -
The autumn colors are just stunning. I am trying to visualize this scene with the summer colors and it just pales compared to this. The diagonal placement of the trees and the completely off center placement ltoof the house really works. The trees enhance the quality of the house - this would be a great image for a realty brochure for the estate. Well done.

Hello Jaap -
With the intensity of the blue Henk would be raving about the Velvia colors. The reflection grabs my attention - just a slight ripple on the water so that we know it is a true reflection. I also like how the water darkens the sky and reflections to add contrast to the scene. Well done again Jaap, it is a pleasure to experience Holland through your images.

Goodbye, Wall (20 years ago) by Wandering_Dan

Hello Dan -
The Wall, it was once a stark reminder of the tensions of the world, but the years have mellowed allowing the taggers and artists to use it as a canvas for their brand of art. What I remember about the wall (October 1968) was the stark dichotomy between east and west. One form of repressive government against an open government all within 100 meters of each other. I guess this is how the people of 1989 felt as they were released from the yoke of oppression. Well composed, with all of the technicals were they should be. Well seen!

Good afternoon Pat -
Just lovely light! I can smell the bacon cooking and the slight chill in the ocean air. This is one of the best times to be out and about, sunrise, but most are asleep and don't know what they are missing. Just lovely.

Heavy Spray by Wandering_Dan

Hello Dan -
This is a different view of this well known icon. I am looking at this on my laptop and it is not being rendered as I remember seeing it yesterday. This could account for the lack of comments on TE. The spray seems to be blocked up, I am wondering if TE has something to do with this or maybe it is how you are converting for the web. I learned in my seminar today that Adobe color space needs to be converted to sRGB to render correctly on the web. I don't generally convert and maybe that explains why I get some comments about blocked shadows and a lack of vividness to some of my images. Just a thought. Anyway, as I said yesterday it was a nice image and a really different view. Well done!

Bonjour Denis -
Just a beautiful autumn scene with a touch of new snow on the mountain top. I like the inclusion of the bench in the scene as it adds a human element to a breath taking scene. Bravo, well done.
