Hi Peter
Although your big red tanker takes centre stage here, it is actually the tug that got my attention. My uncle worked the tugs in Sydney Harbour for all of his working life and I remember when I was very young going to work with him one day, brings back an old memory. TFS

The last time I was in Darwin, 2001 was on the way back from Bali and we did the Thursday night market, it really is a special event those markets, wish I had a camera back then. You captured the atmosphere beautifully here, the scattered silhouettes look fantastic. Colours are magic.

You have achieved an almost 3D effect here, with exceptional sharpness of the foreground housing, the hillside and the castle and the background slightly out of focus really gives emphasis to the main body of the photo. Great colour and interesting scene. Great handling of the light to get both good clarity of the village and the castle.

Wow what a photo, the texture and patterns of the clay earth, the black silhouette of the dead trees and that golden glow falling on the background sand dunes leading up to the several shades of blue in the sky. Its all fantastic. I like the long framing and low POV you present here. One of my favourites.
