Sabine,
I think that they go to the market for 2 reason, first one , they get borring at home and they what to be part of what is happening on the town, second one, the could earn few dolars.
I think your picture represent very good what you descrive.......and I would say that there are lot´s of people in myanmar doing the same thing.

Sabine, What a lovely story. I really enjoy reading it. When I was watching the pictures and reading the note ,almost at the same time, I thought every thing about my trip with so much intensity than the last picture....wuuoo, I really miss this place and specially the people.....that kind of places..... people full of innocence , it made me be full of energy to share and speak with the them.
Great picture, the color are fantastic and I like the way how you crop the picture.

Well, let me tell you that your comment were really great....I felt MYANMAR in the same way...exactly in the same way. I didn´t go to Nyaungshwe, but it might be similar to other places that I went.
Anyway, I love the picture and , as you do , I love those little girl with the yellow paint in the face.

hi Jean Pierre,
What amazing place , it's a really beautiful picture. I know some places from bolivia, but just from pictures. I never so this place before.....really nice. When I did my trip from chile , we tried to go to Bolivia(salar de UYUNI) , but we had so many problem and we didn't want to go illegal. I think that it would have had any problem, I guess that nobody control anything in bolivia, but who knows ......they don't like the chilean so much.

hi jean pierre,
I can see that you are so familiar with the places that I have been. Congratulation, because It's a great area and no many people take the chance to do this in their own car. Well, I took a look at your gallery..."splendid"...you have a really nice picture from this area. Well done.
