Really great composition and I especially like the reflections of the unseen blue sky and buildings - it changes the mood of the picture really nicely.

Interesting point of view and a really nice graphical shot with a natural aspect from the swan too - well balanced composition. Fun note also - yes, I'm sure everything will become "Olympic" here in London in the next few years also :)

Great minimal shot and finding the bird that was not obvious from the thumbnail made me smile. Perfect contrast in the lines and it's always nice to see the "everyday" things around in a magical way.

Hi Bahram, I can only agree with previous comment that the perspective in this picture is excellent - a very deep and well framed shot. Eye catching too.

Hi Alexandre, very very nice atmosphere and a real feeling of excitement from the eyes - lovely use of the wide aperture to emphasise that.

Beautiful and simple composition Jacques. You have caught the texture of the scene very well. I'm slightly distracted by the coloured patch at the top (although I am colour deficient so this may be stronger for me).

Hi Julia,

Oh lovely! The brush strokes in the sky so much remind me of magical aurora borealis. I really like the silhouetted shapes of the plants and the unusually wide frame is effective but, having said that, it is very much a picture for tempting the imagination. I'm glad you turned 180 degrees to catch it :)

Hi Nicola, You have caught a spectacular image. Very well done. It's interesting to see a square frame (I see the camera is medium format) but clearly perfect for the lines here. I love how the curves become straight in their shadows and the straight become curves in theirs. The figure is a nice touch of context too. Inigo
