Great shot, good light. I have to say I prefer the composition of the cropped WS version, I think the view of the pylon in the original version spoils the mood a little. But I love thede dike-photos in all their variations. Well done!

Well, be it luck or skill, this is a crack(l)ing shot all the same ;-) Nice colours and perfect black background. Good choice of shutter speed to show those light trail without any blur.

I like this one. The boats lead the eyes into the picture and the overhanging branches frame the shot nicely. They work because they don't obstruct any of the main elements of the composition. The image is sharp, but still has a nice "softness" to it. Perhaps the image is cropped a little to tightly on the left side - but it doesn't detract from the attractiveness of this shot. Informative notes as well. Well done!

Uansett... flott bilde!

Great composition, real textbook stuff with the 3 main elements (grass, sky and cabin) placed neatly according to the rule of thirds. Great colours (if the cabin had been red you would have had all the primary colours ;-) Gives a feeling of spring, space and freedom. This would have been a "big smiley" if the picture hadn't been let down by the technical quality. The sky is noisy and there is no real detail in the gras in the foreground. Looks like the image has been compressed too harshly either in-camera or while saving for the web.

Nice picture of an exotic location (at least for a norwegian;-). Taken at the right time when there is still some detail left in the sky. The water in the bottom end of the frame doesn't really contribute much to the image. I think the composition will have more impact if you crop just below the "deepest" reflection. Nice work!

I really like this picture and I love the mood! The composition is great with the main focalpoint given lots of space, placed "looking" into the frame and nicely framed by the hanging leaves. If only the light had come from the oposite direction and iluminated the subject's face, this image would have been perfect in my opinion. Or another option would have been to make it a silhouette. I also have a minor niggle with the bridge in the background... the arch makes it too interesting and steals some of the attention away from the main subject. My eyes keeps wandering back and forth between the person and the background, never quite settling down.

Nice shot with great framing. Strong leading line that draws your eyes towards the building. For some reason I would have liked to see the base of the fence in the bottom of the frame. I think it would "anchor" the composition better and give you a starting point into the picture. The house and the trees seem a little underexposed but it would be hard to change that without blowing out the sky I guess.
