Nice capture, the heat haze definitely adds to the photo. I'd like to have seen a little less room on the right of the photo, and a little more on the left, though. Placing the car so close to the left of the frame automatically gives a feeling that the car is braking / slowing, and coupled with the high shutter speed and lack of motion blurring this causes one to feel that the car is travelling rather slowly. Given the challenging location that you mention, it may not have been possible to pan for motion blur, but capturing the car closer to the right of the frame would still have helped give more of an impression of speed.
Still, very nice shot nonetheless. :)

Superb composition, and a very nice capture indeed. My only suggestion would be to give it just a slight touch more saturation, for a little extra visual impact... That's just nitpicking on what's a truly great shot though.

Very nicely captured! The photo tells a story, and your note expands on it nicely. Excellent composition, and the slight blurring of the person in the photo suggests activity. Well done!

Wow - what an unusual perspective for this lake shot! The water looks beautiful, an amazing color - and the reflections hint at the snow-capped peaks surrounding you.
All in all, an interesting image - I'd have been tempted to clone out the branch in the water though, and perhaps shoot this with the large tree slightly to the right. Either that, or crop a little off the right of the photo.

Just to look at this lady's face, you can imagine the stories she could tell. Thanks for sharing this with us, and thanks for an interesting photographer's note as well!

A nice capture in what looks to have been difficult lighting. A pity there's not a more dominant subject, but I'm sure you couldn't move objects around, so a great job with what was available to you. :)

Wow - what an interesting perspective! The red of the traffic light contrasts nicely with the blue, and the random scattering of open windows and reflected clouds really adds visual interest. Thanks for sharing this with us!

A very nice point of view, and truly stunning colors. The swimmers add a lot of visual interest, but as with Bebel I'd have liked to have seen the boat angled towards the left of the image, creating a "pathway" that would lead your eyes into the photo. As is, the boat almost divides the image, and distracts you from the swimmers.

I have to say, I think the DOF is about perfect in this. The white ribbons (?) above the plates are a bit distracting though, and I think the photo needs something that stands out from the other plates to grab your interest. Still, a unique shot and quite pleasing overall. :)

I don't understand either, honestly. The motion blurring robs the image of most of its detail, and the composition leaves no real indication of what the subject should be.
