Hi Ryno,
As we so often hear, photography is all by light.....capturing the early morning or late evening light. Your image reflects that advice so well, as the colours here are superb. Having lived in Cape Town myself for 10 years, I know the V&A well, and it always provides great photos if you know where to look. I like the inclusion of the reflection, and the fact that you have captured Table Mountain in it;s entirity. Very well odne.

Bonjour Jean,
The low POV works very well here, making it seem as we are right there amongst the flowers, and the late afternoon sun provides a lovely warm tone to the image. The old church forms a focal point at the end of the row of trees. Very natural and very pleasant. Well done.

This is a very picturesque view of the little port town, showing the wonderfil old buildings next to the sea. I like how you have included quite a bit of the green, forest area in the background, as it gives a good definition of where this town is located. Very well captured.

Such perfect clarity in the reflections.....and a wonderful abstract result. When I study the detail and colours within each area and window, I am amazed at the interesting, distorted detail. Very well managed and captured.

Amazing combination of golden colours in the buildings and the many, many yacht masts below.....really is the time of all the points. I would hate to have this as a jigsaw puzzle....where would I start. Interesting image of Marseillle. Well done.

Absolutely magnificent cloud formations and colours throughout the sky, and the lighting is also excellent. I like the mixture of sun areas and shadows in the foreground beach.....superb. The decision to concentrate on the sky....with the two thirds area, was a good one. Very well captured.

This is an attractive and appealing image with the blue tones and the man's green shirt complimenting one another. You've managed to capture good detail and excellent lighting on the man's face....not always easy in bright lighting and a shadow from the hat. Well done.

A veryinteresting subject....the salt workers doing their jobs amongst the white environment. The two people are well placed in the photo allowig us to see the landscape in which they are located. Well done.

Hello Guenther,
It's quite a "busy" and cluttered composition with the tight cropping enhancing that, but I think it works with the subject. You've focussed onto the marble wall which emphasises the colours, shapes and texture. The orange glass of the lamps provides the contrast in the photo. Well seen and well captured. I too visited Venice a few months ago and most quite mesmorised by the beautiful architecture and romantic mood of the place. Well done.

This is an interesting view of the old harbour, with the modern liner looking a bit out of place against the ancient buildings. Good lighting and well composed.
