Excellent sibling knifeworkery! (I doubt that's a real word but who cares!) From the thumbnail I thought it was a composite image. Good use of available light which perfectly highlights the carvings.
Gonna have to get me a pumpkin and try for myself now!

This is an excellent photo. The composition has been well thought out and the simple lines and symmetry in the reflection give it a wonderful look. Good notes too. I would never have guessed how you composed the picture otherwise.

I like this a lot. The blurring does indeed give a good feel of speed and motion. Even the overexposed areas add to the shot. It gives the impression that the photographer risked life and limb to get the shot (reading your notes, this is probably not too far from the truth). Well done.

I didn't notice the cygnet in the thumbnail - adds a nice touch to a classic composition. I also like the post-processing work in blacking out the background to concentrate on the swan.

I don't normally comment on photos which don't have accompanying notes, but I like this one and just had to!
The strong lines and bold colours give this picture a very angular, geometric appearance which remind me, in a way, of a Piet Mondrian painting.
