Nice concept, supported well by your note. On initial viewing, I was not convinced about the contribution of the crosswalk paint in the foreground. But upon thinking about the context of your photograph, I am wondering if the foreground presents even more opportunities for you in composing meaning in this image.

Nice work composing interesting elements in this portrait -- engaging eyes, of course the decorated hand, all set against the backdrop of the tactile scarf and curtain both in rich complimenting colors and textures. It's worth thinking about working with the subject's pose a little bit to see if there is a way to make the hand position feel a little more natural, less awkward, and less of a gesture of distancing and more of a gesture of showing as I am assuming it is meant to be. Unless the intention is more of the former. Also would love to see the image posted larger.

Good work using the light to get the front dancer to stand out from the rest. The white component to the dress gets a little blown out in the process, though. Maybe there is something you can do in post to balance the levels.

Great technique here. The contrast and detail really elevate this photograph. Excellent composition too, the arrangement and framing of the two musicians creates a sense of relationship. Good decision going black-and-white on this one.
