Very interesting shot. The POV and centering have given a great effect. Perhaps a little higher contrast could have made it more dramatic and more abstract.

WOW - very nice shot. At first i wasn't sure if I was looking up or down. I felt like I could fall down into the photo, and then realised I was looking up.

The shot is very clear and I like how it fades to the black centre.

Really nice shot - the strong deviding line, seperating what looks like hot and cooler areas; the rich colours and diferent textures - from rock to steam - and then the dark band of vegetation seperating the agressive earth from a more peaceful looking sky.

I've enjoyed looking around your shots, but this one in particular caught my eye. It might not have the clarity or sharpness of some of your other shots, but the feeling of the photograph and the scene it portrays is very strong.

Technical accumen is not the be all and end all, I guess - somewhere it's also about the artistry...
