It's been a very long time since I added comments or photos to TE. I have had the honor of shooting 4X5 with a professional, trained photographer. It was a day I will never forget. And with that said, I am ready to dive into LF. I shot B&W while perched high above the Wisconsin River. The negs are great but the magic will be in the darkroom. I will get to learn all about that next week. After I get a handle on scanning better images from my scanner I will post a few of them for you to see.
I enjoy the information you share with each LF photo. It's like being in a class and your the teacher. You have such a gift and thank you for sharing it.

I am suprised that more people haven't left a comment. I am fascinated by large format cameras and wish to have one someday. This photo is a real amazing because of the shallow DOF. It looks like you may have used a slow speed film with good color saturation. I'd love to see more of your work with this camera.
Hat's off to you for posting this photo,

WOW! What an incredible photo. Henryk, you have taken a building that has been photographed many times and made it look even more spectacular. Very good use of shutter speed here. You have just the right amount of exposure to give the sky the right amount of light without over exposing the Museum. This is a very different POV that I have never seen.

Absolutley one of the best images on TE! I never made it on top of those mountains while living in Utah. This gives me a great idea of what it looks like.
Great choice for B&W. It looks like the wind was really whipping things up quite a bit.

Bonjour Armando, image très parfaite. J'ai essayé beaucoup de fois de capturer une image comme ceci mais elle n'a pas fonctionné pour moi. J'aime les couleurs progressives du susnset et l'ombre de l'arbre est simplement exacte. Grand travail, Darren

This may be cliche, but you have pulled off another signiture photo. I have looked around Southern Wisconsin for such an area and haven't found anything as good as this.
Your point of focus works well. The biggest sunflower is just off to the left of center and the background flowers are nicely out of focus. Great information too!
