Hello Giuseppe,
first of all thanks for the fine note. It happens not that often that there is so much to learn from a note.
Second thanks for this shot you share here. It is amazing. The contrasting colours of different shades of blue and white are outstanding.
And that low grey cloud adds something mysterious to this image.
I like your POV and how the ice in front "pops" out of the left edge.
Kind regards, Britta

Britta

Hello Bruno,
a "yummie" picture you show us here!
I always loved these jelly bears. But I never detected them having a face! They were in my mouth before I could have a closer look I guess.
But I think the three bears here are a bit pale. I would like to show you what I mean but you don't allow workshops. Maybe you could change your settings?
Anyway...I like this one. Thanks for sharing. Regards, Britta

Hello Piotr,
I like this shot, especially the curve of the sea's shore.
But be careful, even in foggy conditions, with pointing your camera at the sun. Here you lost some details of the tree the sun is behind. Sometimes post processing can recover some of the details without too much lost of other features. But sometimes it is better to try another shot with the sun more to the right or left. I don't know if that would have helped here as I don't know the place where you took this image.
Keep on your good work.
Kind regards, Britta

Hello Emad,
you show us here interesting details of a fine architecture. At the bottom the details are sharp and well exposed. But the top of this image is awfully overexposed. I have no idea why, but maybe you can adjust that in post processing?
Sorry to be that harsh. I hope you don't mind me being that honest.
Have a nice week. Regards, Britta

Hi Kasia,
a good idea for this shot. Sunsets are fascinating, aren't they?
I like the silhouettes of the roofs and the chimneys.
But your shot could use some improvements - at least in my opinion. Let's start with the noise. Some digital cameras do have this noise and it can be reduced in pp by software (I use PaintShopPro). Then I noticed that the image needs a bit sharpening as it seems to be a bit soft. And make sure that dark parts in shots like this one don't show too much details as they distract the eye of a viewer. The sky again is a bit overexposed I think. I found it helpful to have a look into the manual of my camera how to avoid this. By now I take several shots of the same motive. I then decide at the PC which one is the best. I point the camera at a dark part and don't press the button fully, then go back with held button to the frame I want and then push the button fully. I do the same procedure with pointing the camera at a bright part. And may I suggest to try a different cropping with this shot? You wanted to concentrate on the sky but you show many details in the foreground. Ah, one more thing: pictures sometimes look a bit unfinished when they are of very vivid colours at the edges. I use then borders to give it a look like being in a frame. Maybe you want to try that?
As I ran out of allowed ws-postings for today I can't show you what I am talking about. Maybe I will upload it tomorrow or you tell me you will try on your own or don't want me to play around with this image. Please, feel free to do so.
But all in all I like this shot as it is full of possibilities, good details and rich colours.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Britta

Hi Kasia,
this one is much better as the horizon is straight. I like the gulls and the reflection of sunlight on the beach.
I would have liked the posts of the former footbridge not that centred but it works this way, so it is ok.
The sky is overexposed - at least in my opinion.
Maybe I'll try another workshop... Let's see.
What I like best about your shot is the braking wave in the foreground. You have been in place at the right time. Well done.
Thanks for sharing. Kind regards, Britta

Hi and welcome on TE!
I love pictures of sunsets.
In your shot I like the line created by the wave-breaker in the foreground.
But let me say that the horizon is a bit lopsided to the right. And I think you have pointed your camera nearly directly at the sun so the picture is very bright although it was the time of sunset.
I did a workshop for you to show you what can be done in post processing to bring out the fine features of this good image better.
I hope you don't mind me playing around with your image.
Thanks for sharing. Regards, Britta

Hi Piotr,
I like the mood of this shot. The mist and the hardly visible trees in the background are great details. The two starting ducks add a hint of liveliness.
But I think you show too much of the sky. I downloaded your image and cropped it that way that only the tops of the trees are still visible, the sun only adds the light but is not longer visible. Throughout this way of cropping one can concentrate more on the fine details of this shot. And with a black border it looks great. I am sorry you don't allow workshop postings as I would like to show you what I did. Maybe you can change your settings in your profile? I then would upload the altered version so you can see what I am talking about.
Thanks for sharing this image. Regards,
Britta
