Hard-crop out the road, and remove the right 1/3 of this image and it would be a very different composition.

I think a much harsher crop would make this image more dramatic, or better zoom in tighter to the waves - the foreshore does nothing for the image.

I bet it looked dramatic from the house :-)

That's a good composition.
Lighting is interesting, but not ideal - but I guess there is nothing you can do about that.

How did you manage to take a photo in a mosque - I thought this was not allowed?

That's a big view!

So many of my landscape photos get rejected due to flat lighting.
Lighting is so critical in this type of landscape image... maybe shooting in the 'golden hour' (1hr either side of sun up/down) would make a better job of this view.

There's no detail; maybe a lower position would have captured more foreground interest.
