Well, I like the background and would really like to see the original color photo of this one, looks like it would give it a mysterious jungle atmosphere with all that foilage around it. I also like the effect you used on it as the statue catches your attention right away, which is your intention and works very well. I have learned from this now I just have to figure out how you did that.:) Could you post the original to the workshop for viewing?

To improve this photo you could rotate 2 left and then crop out uneven edges. I took it, rotated, then used the clarify in paint shop pro. I am learning to post process and it is hard for me to critique, actually this is my first one.
I am going through all the uncritiqued photos and finding ones that I feel I can make suggestions on. Also, if you turn the workshop feature on, members can do workshop alteration on your photos to compare your photo to theirs. It is a fun way to learn.
