I have been to that spot several times over the years and have never seen the glow like that. Amazing capture! Well done and thanks for sharing.

What I don't understand is why there are shadows behind some of the trees with the sun setting behind them. It just looks like you took a picture of the village and laid it over a picture of a sunset. Maybe more appropriate for TL.

I love this shot. Great POV, great angles and the lighting really set the mood of the cathedral well. A little blurry in the detail like the candles but all in all a great photo.

Sorry, but I don't get it. This doesn't appear to be anything more than a snapshot by a father who turned around on a hike and took a picture of his family. Cute family but still...

I just read several fascinating stories from Pakistani newspapers about Basant and all of the violence that accompanies the festival including sharpened kite strings. All of them were talking about government efforts to ban the festivals because so many people were killed every year from stray bullets, stabbings and even a couple with throats slashed by sharpened kite strings. It is a culture that I don't understand but I am still fascinated by it. I love the composition here and how the colors are juxtaposed against the landscape. I would love to see photos of some of the kites. Thank you for sharing.

Well done and well spoken. A great tribute to a man who inspired you. Shooting from an aircraft window is difficult as so many windows are scratched. You captured an elegant image that fits well with your tribute.
