You showed courage in this unusual composition. The fence gives the picture depth and the tree creates a mood of isolation.

Ominous.
The clouds add weight to the problem of cancer. The filthy sheds on the right strengthen the gloom of the photo and the theme.

For me there are too many things going on in this picture which distract me from the drunk on the bench. I believe the very contrast of the drunk and the postcards shop(woman, showcase on the left and bike being removed) would make this photo stronger.

I like the monumental look the POV you chose has given the pillars. The Pyramides are no match for the Saltburn's Victorian Pier! :-)
