I can't beleive no one has said it yet. Maybe it is the amatuer in me, but what a stunning photo. One thinks like a child stepping through a magical gate into a fairytale background. What amazing adventure awaits
us on the other side Perhaps a maiden in distress?

I just have to say I really like this picture. The contrast in hues
make it seem like a scene from a science fiction novel..alien planet

Amazing colour contrast and the church being in silhouette.With the mooring posts in front , it is indeed very symbolic of Venice. Great picture
