nice rich colors in this composition.....but overall i think its a bit dark, and a smaller aperture might help in this case as the blurred foreground doesnt really add to the photo

great composition, and the colors are so vibrant. its a shame there isnt more green visible in the tree. the blue, yellow, green combo would have been surreal.....i agree with an earlier poster though, the tree looks a bit oversharpened.....im not sure if thats an in camera jpeg setting or something that happened in raw processing...

beautiful shot...being above the clouds like that is exhilarating....i love small aperture shots into the sun like this...the glare can be great....

cool subject matter, i love all the varied colors. Its a box of chalk right? It takes awhile to realize what youre looking at.....It looks a little soft though....i dont know if this due to focus or scanning the film.....

its always good to see some velvia shooters....

welcome to TE!!! i love the shot...great bokeh from the 1.4 lens....looks like the candle is a bit out of focus....fix that and this would be perfect...you can see where the bow is in more focus and that is forward of the candle...
