And so in the Arirang Festival you see a nation mobilized, where the military and civil life knows no boundary. All unified in opposition to US Imperialism and worship of their dear leader. In a totalitarian society, the average bloke knows nothing else besides this totatlity.

As the tour guide says, I stare at the Dear Leader, weeping... at the thought of how many North Koreans needlessly starved to death over the years under the Kim Dynasty. The cult of personality in North Korea does not compare with that of GWB; They are dictators of a different kind.

Welcome to TrekEarth. Nice photo of village performance? The audience in the foreground and background adds to the folk atmosphere. The white shirt is over exposed, made worse by PhotoShop 7. In PS, there should be a way to dim his shirt down. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the nice sun rise. This is a great view. Maybe improved a little if cropped the sun out and focus its rays on the hills and towns- kind of like your other Sunrise photo. As you have it, the clouds, the sun, and the hermitages all compete against each other. My opinion. Nice shot still. Cheers.

Very nice shot. Sharp image. I almost missed the butterfly which is an added bonus. I just ordered a macro auto extender for my camera so I can continue practice taking close-ups. I also need to use the tripod more often. Keep shooting.
