I love the DOF, colors and fine details. Does the horizon really curve or is it due to the lens?

By the way, where is this place?

Gorgeous composition! The empty corridor and open sky work to balance the columns really well. Even the hieroglyphics on the lintel are visible.

I like the composition and the fine details and whiteness of the tree vs. the massive red boulders. It looks unreal!

Beautiful colors. It's almost surreal. The naked branches at the top is the perfect contrast. Very moody.

Beautiful. The three broad sections of color makes it look like a painting. I like the way the cottonwood's silhouette unites the composition. The moon acts like a punctuation to add interest. I don't know if it's just me, but the lower left of the image has some light spots near the corner that are distracting, since I can't make out what they are.

Hi Mark,

Beautiful picture! The small details (grass in the foreground, ripples in the water, clouds in the sky) add a nice contrast to the texture of the abbey. The people in front make a nice scale reference. Did you use a polarized filter? I'm thinking one might help increase the contrast for the background and the sky.
