In Alabama?!!!!! That's a terrific picture!! The red bridge stands out in all the calming green. Very nice composition indeed. To me it's an oneiric scene. Would you say the top of the bridge is a little bit over exposed? If so, does anybody have any suggestions on how to correct it? I don't know for sure, I am still learning about photography! Nice shot!
By the way, I found a website of the place

I want to go there! very nice!

Nice shot!!!!
The sunset colors were well captured and I like all the sky because you can see the different hues and tones. I like the "arch" that the light forms, kinda involving the people watching it. Feels like the night is coming like a blanket over them. Despite being from Brazil, I have never been there, but always heard amazing stories about that place. Is there a little distorcion on the people on the right? I do see the scratch(?) too. Is that the ocean on the back? If so, it is not very "horizontal", but overall the picture is really nice!

Wow!
I always think these long-exposure pictures are amazing. Do you have more information about the exposure time, shutter speed, type of camera, etc?
Animal! Muito legal! I am not sure about the flash light on the first plane though... I think it adds to the composition, but I wonder how it would look like without it...
By the way, Welcome to trekEarth! Bom comeco!!!!

Wow! Is this a picture or a painting?! :-)
This is one of those pictures that stands out among the others. However, there is something weird with the clouds. Overexposed maybe? I don't know. But I like the picture anyway. The different depths, each one with a predominant color, and the detail of the little house. Very nice! Did you manipulate the picture (changed levels, contrast, color balance, cropped, etc)?

Wow! What a nice picture! I saw all your pictures and this is my favorite so far! Thanks for sharing your pictures and travel experiences! I had learnt a lot from the comments about it too! Thanks Geraldina and everyone who had something to add!

Amazing picture! I took a look at your photographs and you have more amazing pictures of those giant waves, and you are getting better and better! This one is a combination of luck, patience and good photographic skills! Well done!

I have that ambiguous feeling with this picture too. Don't know exactly why, but it gives me a weird feeling. I think the toys without the kids, associated with the lack of color, the dark tones and the people shadows "kinda" going away give this abandonment/solitude feeling to the picture. The dark tone of the sand makes it look like mud and dirty to me. Maybe that helps setting that mood... Maybe we associate happiness and fun with color and "white sand" beaches. I don't know! And about the "truth", that's what I like about photographs and drawings. If we have one object (the truth) being photographed or drawn by 10 people at the exact same time, we will have 10 different pictures and drawings of the same exact thing. None of them will be the same, despite all of them are about the same object/subject. Same with truth, the reality is one, the way we interpret it is not.

There are some pictures that just makes me "wow!". This is one of those (it made a lot of people "wow"!). I saw the color picture and I believe the B&W was an excellent choice in a way that sets a mood to the picture. I think that what makes this picture amazing and succesful is a combination of factors like the choice for black and white, the mist, the horizontal direction and the calm waters. Very well done!

Hi. I think you cropped too much and also enlarged too much, losing a lot of detail. It looks out of focus. The colors are a little faded too. I like the first shot better. I would probably crop it a little different, but I would not enlarge that much. What do you think?
