Wow. Great shot. I would have loved taking a picture like this. I like taking lightning pictures, I just never get any good backgrounds. I like the reflection in the water. Thanks for sharing,

That's a beautiful shot of the fall scenery. I'm sure a polarizer would have helped since it is slightly bright, especially at the top. But it's still a good picture. I posted a workshop if you want to check it out.

Hi Derrick. This is a nice shot. I love how green it is and how the river disappears behind the bend. I remember following the platte river on interstate 80 on a roadtrip. In fact this was taken 2 weeks after I saw the river.

Hi Chris. Nice lightning pic. I love lightning photography and would also like to hear how you shot it. I love the colors of the clouds contrasted against the building and trees.

Hi Edward. Welcome to Trek Earth. I love looking at pictures of Maine. I like the fall colors in this one. I also like how you included both the sky and th ewater in the picture. Are those beaver dams down in the bottom left?

Hi Noah. Welcome to Trek Earth. I like the idea of the pictures with the ball in the foreground. The pictures just kinda blurry from the 1/8 second exposure time. Next time you can try increasing the ISO and that will allow you to use a faster shutter speed. Keep posting,

Hi Derrick. Congratulations on this capture. The shot looks spooky with the branches, but still allows you to see the bolt clearly enough. I love looking at storm pictures and reading about storm chases. My favorite website is this and that guy lives near Omaha so he has lots of storm pictures in that area. Keep posting,

Hi Ria. The picture is a little over-exposed. Perhaps it would have been better to wait wait until a great sunset to capture this picture. It seems like a sunset would make the picture perfect. Keep posting.

Hi Guillaume. This is a nice capture. Did you take it from a window? I also love to take lightning photos. It seems a little bright and the black things in the corners are a little distracting. So I did a workshop. I hope you like it.
