Superb idea and composition. Giorgio, can you share your secret, how did you manage to create such a contrast between the water and the foreground? Was it all thanks to the lighting?

Hi Alicja,

Great capture and composition, excellent choice of B&W. A quite bit of detail was lost to the grain, but perhaps that is for the best.

Great subject - perhaps you should rethink the composition, the subject is too much in the center -

Really Amazing shot, one of my favorites. I have a question though : I don't understand how did you make the unlit part of the moon darker than the sky? I thought it is only possible to see the moon when it is lit by the sun, and is darker than the sky - I never thought that you can actually see something that is !darker! than the sky.. Is this how it was visible from that location, is it something you can only see high up in the mountains?
