points for the look on they guys face alone.
what was that big guys name in harry potter? yeah need i say more?
exposure and contrast all great and like i said the look on his face makes it great. im thinking what would I have done differently. I think just on the cropping you see the line that is formed by the wall in the background I might have rotated and cropped so that the line of the wall was horizontal to the edge of the photo. that is abotu the only additive suggestion for this photo. DId i mention i love the look on the guys face?

rocks. love the look on her face as well. you mentioned the highlight shadow. I am becomming addicted to it but I have noticed that it is very easy to go overboard with it and get allot of noice added to the photos in no time at all can you let us know the settings that you used for the highlight shadow. I love how the dof as well gets her face but her ears are out of the focal range. very good Im a really big fan of using very narrow DOF in photos myself. love this photo the look on her face jsut says it all focusing on what you are doing and not caring the wind is blowing her hair in the face great shot.

that explains why i saw safeway when i was in the UK didnt know they changed ownership. never really cared though... anywas that answers why i saw safeway in the UK...........
I think the reasons for liking this photo are obvious. but Ill state it anyways. the fall of the lines of the street and how it maches up nice with the red tail light trail. In particular I like how the lines humm fill the bottom of the photo I mean the edge of the far left line is on the left edge of hte photo and same with the right and then they very quickly disapear into the back of the photo I thnk that is what makes this photo work and why a potentialy bland everday photo has been captured into a real photo worth looking at. sorry but lets face it safeway isnt exactly naked dancing girls or fuji erupting or anything like that but very impressed with how this everyday item has been made very interesting. 3 points if possible.

nice composition. colors are well balanced as well. humm waht suggestions could i make... humm looks a little bright as in a polorizing filter might have made a big difference. YOu can tell that is was a bright day and there was glare.

very cool colors and lighting the dark sky as well works. the one thing that humm i dont want to say bothers me but can almost be a distraction is the long shadow in the middle of the picture I think i would have wanted to see the object that created the shadow in the photo as well.

everything good and all but the resoson why i wanted to comment on this photo is that the ray of light comes down at a perfect angle to get his face and it helps to emphasize his face as well. excellent timing to trip the shutter.

i like how this is frmaed between the two other buildings. Maybe add a bit of contrast or curves to help pull hte ESB out a bit more at the top where there is clouds or smog that kinda dull the building a bit. deepen the sky blue a bit more as well as some USM might help. good phot and also has the ability to be even more I think.
